Hiran Minar Tour Overview

Hiran Minar is a remarkable monument from the Mughal period, known for its unique architecture and fascinating history. Built during the reign of Emperor Jahangir, this site reflects a rare story of love and remembrance.

According to historical accounts, Emperor Jahangir had a pet deer named Mansraj. After its death during a hunt, the emperor ordered its burial at this site and constructed a beautiful minaret over its grave in memory of the animal.

Later, a water tank and a stunning Baradari (pavilion) were added, completing the complex around 1634. The pond, built in Mughal architectural style, remains one of the most impressive features of this site.

Even after more than 400 years, Hiran Minar continues to attract visitors with its peaceful environment, historical significance, and natural beauty.
